Ever pinch yourself and wonder, “Is this really happening to me? Well, that’s how I feel right now. When I started tinkering in my kitchen and photographing my recipes for this blog a little over a year ago, I never would have guessed that I would be invited to attend a fabulous, Registered Dietitian (RD)-founded blogger event known as Blog Brûlée. I am honored to be able to blog talk with twenty fabulous RD-food, nutrition and health bloggers, authors, recipe developers and food photographers! It’s almost here — in just two short days, from September 11 – 13, we’ll be descending on beautiful Stowe, VT. (A far cry from Chicago!)
My attendance at the Blog Brûlée is being partially funded by Sponsors of the Blog Brûlée and I received a discounted registration to the event in exchange for writing this post. Opinions expressed are my own. I was not compensated for my time.
You might ask, what do I want to get out of this conference? Here’s a few words that come to mind . . .
I’ve learned so much over the past year, but there’s oodles more than I want to do with my blog. I am looking forward to learning from this fabulous line up of incredible speakers and bloggers (check them out, when you can!):
{Sally Kuzemchak, MS, RD of RealMomNutrition}
{Anne Mauney, MPH, RD of fANNEtastic food}
{Katy Widrick of KatyWidrick.com} {Katie Webster, author of Maple, 100 Sweet and Savory Recipes Featuring Pure Maple Syrup (Quirk Books, Fall 2015)}
{Lindsey Livingston, RD of TheLeanGreenBean}
{Kylie Mitchell, RD of immaeatthat.com }
{Lisa D’Agrosa, MS, RD, associate editor at EatingWell Magazine }
Thank you to the founders of this fabulous event, Regan Miller Jones, RD of Healthy Aperture, Gretchen Brown, RD of kumquat, Deanna Segrave-Daly of Teaspoon Communications and Robin Plotkin, RD of Robinsbite. I look forward to seeing you in a couple of days!
TIA to the sponsors, too . . .
So looking forward to sharing my Blog Brûlée experience with you!
As always, enjoy eating simply,
-Vicki
